Defect Summary

Arcimoto inc (arcimoto) is recalling certain 2019-2021 fuv, 2020 deliverator, 2021 rapid responder motorcycles. the seat belt retractor spool sleeve may be cracked, allowing broken pieces to block the seat belt from retracting.

Safety Consequence

A seat belt that fails to retract increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

A service technician will replace the seat belt retractor, free of charge. interim owner notification letters were mailed on june 22, 2021. owner notification letters were expected to be mailed july 1, 2021. owners may contact arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293.
