Defect Summary
Equipment technology, l.l.c. (eti) is recalling certain 2018-2021 etc37ih and etc40ih vehicles. the weld between the outrigger assembly and the body's sub-frame assembly may be inadequate, which could result in failure of the aerial unit during use.
Safety Consequence
Failure of the aerial unit can increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Eti will inspect the welds, and repair or replace the rear shear plates, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed on june 22, 2021. owners may contact eti customer service at 1-405-748-3841.
