Defect Summary

Mercedes-benz usa, llc (mbusa) is recalling certain 2020 glb250 vehicles. the front passenger air bag inflator and cushion may be improperly attached inside the air bag module, which could result in the air bag cushion tearing upon deployment.

Safety Consequence

An air bag that does not deploy properly during a crash can increase the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the front passenger air bag module, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed july 16, 2021. owners may contact mbusa customer service at 1-800-367-6372. mbusa's number for this recall is 2021060011.
