Defect Summary

Mack trucks, inc. (mack) is recalling certain 2022 medium-duty trucks. the spring hanger brackets on the front suspension may have loose bolts.

Safety Consequence

Loose suspension bolts can detach, possibly resulting in a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will tighten the spring hanger bracket bolts, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed on august 17, 2021. owners may contact mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. mack's number for this recall is sc0428.
