Defect Summary

Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2021 prime time tracer trt22rbs recreational trailers. the tail light is located too close to the water heater exhaust, which may cause the tail light to become distorted and fail.

Safety Consequence

A distorted or inoperative lens can reduce trailer visibility for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the tail light with a flush mount tail light, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed august 18, 2021. owners may contact forest river customer service at 1574-862-1025. forest river's number for this recall is 51-1389.
