Defect Summary
Sutphen corporation (sutphen) is recalling certain 2017-2020 fire trucks. the sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.
Safety Consequence
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect the rail threads and fuel lines for damage, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. the manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. owners may contact sutphen customer service at 1-614-889-1005.
