Defect Summary
Airstream, inc. (airstream) is recalling certain 2022 interstate 24x recreational vehicles. the inverters may have been improperly wired with incorrectly sized wires and circuit breakers.
Safety Consequence
The inverter electrical circuit could become overloaded, which can increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will install additional wiring and circuit breakers, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed september 3, 2021. owners may contact airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.
