Defect Summary

Utility trailer manufacturing company (utility trailer) is recalling certain 2022 vs2ra trailers. the incorrect tape was installed on the top foil, which could result in the sealer plate separating from the roof.

Safety Consequence

A separated sealer plate can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect the adhesive, and replace it if necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed on september 2, 2021. owners may contact utility trailer's customer service at 1-800-423-6591. utility trailer's number for this recall is sb-19-009.
