Defect Summary

Chrysler (fca us, llc) is recalling certain 2020 alfa romeo giulia vehicles. these vehicles may be equipped with tires that have a lesser load rating than intended for the vehicle. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 110, "tire selection and rims."

Safety Consequence

The incorrect tires can result in the operator overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the tires, and update the owner's manual with the correct load rating, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed december 21, 2021. owners may contact fca us llc customer service at 1-800-853-1403. fca us llc's number for this recall is y83.
