Defect Summary

Altec industries, inc. (altec) is recalling certain 2012-2016 at200a aerial devices. cracks may develop in the legs of the mounting frame, which can cause the mounting frame side plate to break.

Safety Consequence

A broken side plate may result in pedestal and truck frame separation, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Altec will repair the side plates as necessary, or provide a repair kit, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed january 13, 2022. owners may contact altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. altec's number for this recall is csn 840.
