Defect Summary

Plastic omnium (plastic omnium) has submitted a defect information report based upon the recall determinations made by nissan north america, inc. (recall 21v-957), and mitsubishi motors north america, inc. (recall 22v-027). the fuel tank assemblies contain a fuel pump that may fail.

Safety Consequence

Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
