Defect Summary

Altec industries, inc. (altec) is recalling certain 2017-2021 sk185-mp, and skc landscaping spray vans. the vehicles are not equipped with carbon monoxide detectors.

Safety Consequence

Elevated levels of carbon monoxide gas may not be detected, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Altec will install a carbon monoxide detector and safety alert placard, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed on may 6, 2022. owners may contact altec's customer service at 1-877-462-5832. altec's number for this recall is csn 864.
