Swing up table could drop unexpectedly
Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2022 east to west alta and palomino solaire travel trailers equipped with a swing up table/bed base. the base may have incomplete welds that are unable to hold the intended weight, causing the table/bed base to drop unexpectedly.
Safety Consequence
The table could drop down in the upright or closed position, increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the replace the swing up table, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed july 5, 2022. Owners may contact forest river customer service for the alta at 1-574-264-6664 or for the solaire at 1-269-432-3271. Forest river's number for this recall is 51-1519.
