Defect Summary
Daimler trucks north america, llc (dtna) is recalling certain 2019-2023 thomas built buses minotour school buses. the vehicle information and tire and loading information labels state the incorrect tire size. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 110, "tire selection and rims."
Safety Consequence
Incorrect tire information could result in the wrong tires being installed, possibly affecting vehicle stability and control, and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dtna will mail replacement labels, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed september 15, 2022. owners may contact dtna customer service at 1-800-547-0712. dtna's number for this recall is fl948.
