Defect Summary
Excellance, inc (excellance) is recalling certain 2022 freightliner m2 emergency vehicles. an additional resistor was incorrectly installed on the printed circuit board, which can disrupt can network communication and cause vehicle lighting to fail.
Safety Consequence
Inoperative vehicle lighting can reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the modules, free of charge. owners may contact excellance's customer service at 1-800-882-9799.
