East penn manufacturing company, inc. (east penn) is recalling certain deka batteries, model 648mf. the electrical connection between the internal battery cell and external terminal may be incomplete, which can cause an electrical spark.

Safety Consequence

An electrical spark increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

East penn will reimburse owners, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed september 22, 2023. owners may contact east penn customer service at 1-888-844-7704.
