Hyundai motor america (hyundai) is recalling certain 2022 santa fe plug-in hybrid vehicles. the fuel tank may have been improperly molded, which can result in a fuel leak.
Safety Consequence
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel tank, as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed march 20, 2023. owners may contact hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. hyundai's number for this recall is 240.
