Defect Summary

Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2013 coachmen cross country and 2023 coachmen sportscoach motorhomes. the entry door latch may fail and not allow entry or exit.

Safety Consequence

The inability to enter or exit the vehicle in an emergency increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and replace the door latch, as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed march 7, 2023. owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-825-8212. forest river's number for this recall is 310-1603.
