Defect Summary

Lordstown ev corp (lordstown) is recalling certain 2023 endurance vehicles. the electric park brake (epb) caliper washers may prematurely wear, decreasing the clamping performance of the epb.

Safety Consequence

A parking brake with weakened clamping performance can fail and allow the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the epb, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed march 15, 2023. owners may contact lordstown customer service at 1-248-522-9100. lordstown's number for this recall is r-0002.
