Defect Summary

Xos, inc. (xos) is recalling certain 2021 rm01, sa01, and 2021-2022 sv05 vehicles. the bolts connecting the electronic parking brake rotor to the driveshaft may have been improperly tightened.

Safety Consequence

Loose bolts may allow the driveshaft to separate, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the bolts and related hardware, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed april 19, 2023. owners may contact xos customer service at 1-818-316-1890. xos's number for this recall is rec 002-23.
