Defect Summary
Terex advance mixer, inc. (terex) is recalling certain 2022-2023 front discharge mixer commander and charger vehicles. improper installation or tightening of the steering shaft may cause it to come loose from the steering column and result in a loss of steering control.
Safety Consequence
A loss of steering control can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Terex will reinstall the steering shaft, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed may 22, 2023. owners may contact terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961.
