Defect Summary

Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2022 esteem, odyssey, redhawk, and greyhawk motorhomes built on ford chassis. the paint along the weld seam of the fuel tank may peel and lead to corrosion of the exposed metal, which can result in a fuel leak.

Safety Consequence

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Ford dealers will inspect the fuel tank and replace, if necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed on may 31, 2023. owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. jayco's number for this recall is ford 22v-925.
