Mack trucks, inc. (mack) is recalling certain 2024 md6 and md7 vehicles. the steering gear fasteners may not be properly tightened.

Safety Consequence

Loose steering gear fasteners may result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will tighten the steering gear fasteners, free of charge. owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 23, 2023. owners may contact mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. mack's number for this recall is sc0449.
