Mercedes-benz usa, llc (mbusa) is recalling certain 2023 glc300 vehicles. the front tow eye may be inadequately threaded to the crossmember and can detach during towing.
Safety Consequence
A detached tow eye can separate the vehicle from the tow truck, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and replace the front crossmember, as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed january 26, 2024. owners may contact mbusa customer service at 1-800-367-6372. mbusa's numbers for this recall are 2023090010/120002.
