Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2022-2024 forester and sunseeker motorhomes. the park brake signal wire may not be connected to the house battery control center, which can allow the slideroom to extend during transit.
Safety Consequence
A slideroom unexpectedly extends increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will connect the signal wire to the battery control center, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed december 12, 2023. owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-206-7600. forest river's number for this recall is 34-1707.
