Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2024 mustang vehicles. the brake pedal assembly may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can result in a loose brake pedal.

Safety Consequence

A loose brake pedal can result in a loss of braking function, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until the repair has been performed. dealers will replace the brake pedal and bracket assembly, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed december 21, 2023. owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. ford's number for this recall is 23s61.
