Defect Summary

Pierce manufacturing (pierce) is recalling certain 2019-2023 arrow xt, enforcer, and velocity mid-mount tower trucks equipped with an aerial platform basket. the electrical connector to the aerial turntable wiring harness may not be properly secured, which can result in connector corrosion and affect the leveling ability of the platform basket.

Safety Consequence

An inability for the platform basket to maintain level can result in the basket tipping, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Pierce will replace the aerial turntable wiring harness, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed december 14, 2023. owners may contact pierce customer service at 1-888-974-3723. pierce's number for this recall is 74b330.
