Defect Summary

Evject, inc. (evject) is recalling certain escape connector nacs v1.0 and v1.1 electric vehicle charging cable adaptors. the adapters were manufactured without internal thermal protection.

Safety Consequence

A connected charging cable without thermal protection can overheat, increasing the risk of a burn injury.

Corrective Action

Evject will replace all adapters without built-in thermal protection, free of charge. interim owner notifications explaining the safety risk were mailed december 26, 2024. a second notice will be sent once remedy parts become available. owners may contact evject customer service at info@evject.com or 1-650-308-8671.
