Defect Summary
Chrysler (fca us, llc) is recalling certain mopar brake pedal assemblies with part number 68607178aa. the brake pedal may collapse and cause a loss of brake function.
Safety Consequence
A loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will reinforce the brake pedal arm, free of charge. if the brake pedal assembly is not installed on a vehicle, the assembly will be repurchased. owner notification letters were mailed december 3, 2024. owners may contact fca customer service at 1-800-853-1403. fca's number for this recall is c2b.
