Defect Summary

Foretravel, inc. (foretravel) is recalling certain 2023 realm fs605 and realm presidential fs605p vehicles. the steering gear may have foreign material inside the gear that could build pressure within the system, resulting in a loss of power steering assist.

Safety Consequence

A sudden loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Foretravel will work with the chassis manufacturer, shyft group to replace the steering gears, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed march 12, 2024. owners may contact foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.
