Defect Summary

Mercedes-benz usa, llc (mbusa) is recalling certain 2022-2023 amg g 63 and 2023 g 550 vehicles. the air-conditioning system may not have been filled with the correct refrigerant.

Safety Consequence

In the event of a crash, the incorrect refrigerant may leak and increase the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the air-conditioning refrigerant, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed april 12, 2024. owners may contact mbusa customer service at 1-800-367-6372. mbusa's number for this recall is 2024030016.
