Defect Summary

Mack trucks, inc. (mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 lr natural gas vehicles. the methane detector may be inoperative due to a missing fuse.

Safety Consequence

An inoperative methane detector can fail to detect a gas leak, increasing the risk of a fire or injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install a fuse, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed april 10, 2024. owners may contact mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. mack's number for this recall is sc0461.
