Defect Summary
Autocar, llc (autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2024 acx (xpeditor) and dc (legend) vehicles. the axle lock nut may be improperly secured, allowing the wheel end to separate.
Safety Consequence
The wheel end separating from the vehicle increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and secure or replace the lock nut, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed july 26, 2024. owners may contact autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. autocar's numbers for this recall are acx-2402 and dc-2405.
