Defect Summary
Timpte, inc. (timpte) is recalling certain 2024-2025 timpte 1420 and 1424 deck trailers. the retaining rod bolts may have been improperly tightened and can fall off, resulting in the folding ramp not being secured.
Safety Consequence
An unsecured ramp can increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and install new hardware as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed june 13, 2024. owners may contact timpte customer service at 1-402-367-3056. timpte's number for this recall is 71-14kdo bolt recall.
