Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2024 mustang vehicles. the rear suspension knuckles may have a casting defect that causes them to fail, which can result in a loss of vehicle handling and steering control.
Safety Consequence
A loss of vehicle handling and steering control increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and replace the rear suspension knuckle as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed august 26, 2024. owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. ford's number for this recall is 24s49.
