Defect Summary

Heartland recreational vehicles (heartland) is recalling certain 2024-2025 torque travel trailers, equipped with optional onan 5.5 generators. these generators may not be properly vented and allow the generator to overheat or prevent exhaust gas from escaping properly.

Safety Consequence

A generator that overheats increases the risk of fire. in addition, trapped exhaust gases inside the trailer can increase the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will correctly route the generator venting, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed september 18, 2024. owners may contact heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032.
