Defect Summary

Escape trailer is recalling certain 2024 escape 17, 19, 21, 23, and 5.0 travel trailers. the led backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Safety Consequence

A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Dealers will cut the circuit powering the led backlights and terminate the wiring, or remove the led backlights, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed august 27, 2024. owners may contact escape trailer customer service at 1-604-703-1650.
