Defect Summary

Altec industries, inc. (altec) is recalling certain 2023-2024 altec aerial device, digger derrick, and pressure digger vehicles. the chassis ignition circuit may be overloaded, which can result in a blown fuse and cause an engine shutdown.

Safety Consequence

An engine shutdown increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Altec will rewire the accessory circuit, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed november 8, 2024. owners may contact altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. altec's number for this recall is csn-3185.
