Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2022-2024 ford maverick vehicles equipped with connected touch radios (ctr). the rearview camera image may freeze when the vehicle is in reverse.
Safety Consequence
An inoperative rearview camera display can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will update the connected touch radio (ctr) software, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed on march 21, 2025. owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. ford's number for this recall is 24s59.
