Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2024-2025 viking and clipper travel trailers. the roof rack hardware may not have been properly tightened, allowing the rack to detach from the roof.
Safety Consequence
A detached roof rack can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and tighten roof rack hardware, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed october 9, 2024. owners may call forest river customer service at 269-467-6604. forest river's number for this recall is 121-1844.
