Defect Summary
Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2025 jay feather air travel trailers. the gross axle weight rating (gawr) listed on the vehicle certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 cfr part 567, "certification."
Safety Consequence
An overloaded vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will install new labels, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed october 23, 2024. owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. jayco's number for this recall is 9901613.
