Defect Summary

Forest river bus, llc (forest river) is recalling certain 2025-2026 collins mfsab, collins cl9, 2025 magellan and 2026 mid bus school buses. the incorrect child seat latch bar was installed. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 225, "child restraint anchorage systems."

Safety Consequence

The incorrect latch bar may make it difficult or impossible to correctly install a child seat, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the latch bar, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed november 18, 2024. owners may contact forest river customer service at (620) 888-3310. forest river's number for this recall is 551-1851.
