Defect Summary
Mercedes-benz usa, llc (mbusa) is recalling certain 2023 glc 300 and glc 300 4matic vehicles. the driver's and front passenger seat rail may have been incorrectly attached to the vehicle body.
Safety Consequence
An incorrectly attached seat may not properly restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect the bolt connection and tighten the bolts between the driver and front passenger seat rail and the vehicle body, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed december 4, 2024. owners may contact mbusa customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
