Defect Summary
Chrysler (fca us, llc) is recalling certain 2023 alfa romeo stelvio vehicles that were previously remedied under nhtsa recall number 24v-512. the tire size information on the tire placard is incorrect. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 110, "tire selection and rims."
Safety Consequence
Incorrect tire information can result in installing the incorrect-size tires, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Fca will mail corrected tire placard labels. owners may bring the label into a dealer for free installation. owner notification letters were mailed december 12, 2024. owners may contact fca us customer service at 1-800-853-1403. fca us's number for this recall is c3b. vehicles previously repaired under recall 24v-512 will need to have the new remedy completed.
