Defect Summary

International motors, llc (international) is recalling certain 2022-2025 hx vehicles. the service brake may take longer than expected to release. as such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 121, "air brake systems."

Safety Consequence

A delayed brake release can increase the risk of crash.

Corrective Action

International will install larger air lines or a quick release valve (qrv) as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed january 13, 2025. owners may contact international customer service at 1-800-448-7825.
