Defect Summary

Bmw of north america, llc (bmw) is recalling certain 2025 x4 xdrive 30i, x4 m40i and x4 m vehicles. the inner-left roof frame near the head air bag may have a crack that can damage the head air bag during deployment.

Safety Consequence

An air bag that is damaged during deployment can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and if necessary, repair the inner-left roof frame, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed january 28, 2025. owners may contact bmw customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
