Defect Summary

Oshkosh corporation (oshkosh) is recalling certain 2025 defense ngdv ice vehicles. the rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 111, "rear visibility."

Safety Consequence

A blank rearview camera display can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Oshkosh will replace the head units, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed december 20, 2024. owners may contact oshkosh customer service at 1-888-686-7278. oshkosh's number for this recall is ngdv_tsb_024.
