Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2025 rpod rpt197 and rpt205 travel trailers. the propane tank tray may be missing the required number of fasteners, allowing the tanks to detach.
Safety Consequence
A detached tank can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Owners are advised to remove the tanks until the repair is performed. dealers will install the correct number of fasteners, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed january 3, 2025. owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-642-3119. forest river's number for this recall is 80-1877.
