Cummins, inc. (cummins) is recalling certain 2022-2024 power generation c275d2re trailer-mounted generators. The unsecured wire leads may chafe against the starter motor housing or terminal and short circuit.
Safety Consequence
A short increases the risk of electrical shock or a fire.
Corrective Action
Distributors or warranty repair locations will inspect and repair the generator set wiring harness and secure the wiring leads, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed february 7, 2025. owners may contact cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467. cummins' number for this recall is c5807.
