Defect Summary

N&b mobility solutions llc (nivion) is recalling certain nivion nsp01 charger adapters. insufficient clearance between direct-current (dc) busbars inside the charger adapter can lead to electrical arcing. also, the adapter is missing an electrical status switch to prevent disconnection while charging.

Safety Consequence

Inadequate clearance between dc busbars may cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire. additionally, disconnecting the adaptor during charging increases the risk of injury by electrical shock.

Corrective Action

Nivion will replace the defective adapters, free of charge. owners may contact nivion customer service at 1-307-243-4122.
